Please mark your calendar for Tuesday, February 3rd as we will be having a special gathering of the LFC School of Discipleship.  This evening will focus on Neighbourhood engagement and will be an encouraging night for all who are a part of our community.  The evenings discussion will help us as we seek to work together to care for those in our neighbourhoods and areas.

We are pleased that our facilitator for the night will be Karen Wilk.

Karen is a National Team Member with Forge Canada leading their Neighbourhood Life initiatives.  She also serves as  a Missional Leader Developer with Home Missions-Western Canada of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA).

She is also a neighbour, wife, mom, and pastor of NEW (Neighbourhood Engagement Workers’) Community. She has been a vocational pastor in Edmonton for almost 28 years and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Missional Leadership at Northern Seminary. Along with preaching and teaching in numerous places, Karen has written a number of books including Don’t Invite Them To Church: Moving From a Come and See to a Go and Be Church. Recently she was included in the Bridgeway Foundation’s list of top “100 fantastic Canadian Christian women leaders”.

This will be a powerful and challenging evening.  Make sure to join us!

Childcare will be available but please RSVP to the Office.
